Responsible AI statement
Last updated: 11 April 2026
1. Our commitment
Graduated Pty Ltd trading as GradStack ("GradStack", "we", "us") is committed to transparent, fair, and human-centred use of artificial intelligence (AI) in connection with our website, products, and services. This statement describes how we approach AI responsibly and complements our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
2. Principles
We aim to use AI in ways that align with the following principles:
- Transparency: we seek to explain, where practical, when AI-assisted features are in use and what they are intended to do.
- Fairness: we work to identify and mitigate bias where we use AI in decision-support or ranking, and to treat people equitably.
- Accountability: we maintain clear ownership and escalation paths for AI-related risks and incidents.
- Privacy and security: we handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy and apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.
- Human oversight: important decisions that affect individuals are designed to involve appropriate human review where required.
3. Governance & oversight
We apply governance practices appropriate to our stage and risk profile, including documenting intended uses of AI features, reviewing model outputs and data handling where relevant, and updating this statement as our practices evolve.
Where we rely on third-party AI or infrastructure providers, we assess their terms and security posture in line with our obligations to users and applicable law.
4. Fairness & transparency
GradStack is not a fully automated decision-making system for employment outcomes. Employers and partners make their own decisions. Where we use AI to support matching, scoring, or content generation, we aim to be clear about the role of automation and to reduce unfair discrimination, consistent with applicable law.
If you believe an AI-assisted feature has been applied in error or has affected you unfairly, please contact us using the details below.
5. Human oversight
We design processes so that human judgment remains part of material decisions about individuals where appropriate, and so that users can seek clarification or escalate concerns. The exact level of automation may vary by product feature and will be described in product-specific documentation as it becomes available.
6. Review & updates
We may update this Responsible AI statement from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our services. The latest version will be published on our site with an updated “Last updated” date.
